Sigma Alpha Omega | Vanguard University
The following highlights my leadership experiences during my active membership in the
Sigma Alpha Omega Beta Zeta Chapter at Vanguard University (2022–2026), where I contributed across public relations, recruitment, philanthropy, and event planning through various executive roles.
Leadership Roles

Managed all chapter social media platforms, graphic design, and content creation, ensuring a cohesive presence across all channels. Led brand outreach securing collaborations, sponsored events, and gifting partnerships, while increasing social media following and chapter membership through digital and on-campus presence. Coordinated philanthropy initiatives including awareness campaigns, fundraising events, community outreach, and service events.

Led planning and execution of all chapter social programming, including beach days, picnics, photoshoots, campaign shoots, and additional engagement events. Coordinated recurring experiences that strengthened member connection, participation, and chapter culture, while collaborating with external partners to support event programming.

Led the planning and execution of our chapter formal and social programming. Directed our annual Met Gala–inspired formal in Spring 2025, the chapter’s largest event yet with over 80 attendees, overseeing all planning, logistics, themes, vendors, and day of execution.
Awards & National Representation
Outstanding Sister of the Year (2025)
Awarded Outstanding Sister of the Year (2025) by the Sigma Alpha Omega Beta Zeta Chapter at Vanguard University in recognition of exceptional leadership, service, and overall contribution to the chapter. Recognized for consistent involvement across public relations, event planning, recruitment, and philanthropy efforts, as well as representing the organization with professionalism and dedication.
National Convention Delegate (Summer 2023)
Served as a delegate at the Sigma Alpha Omega National Convention in Wilmington, North Carolina, hosted at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, representing the Beta Zeta Chapter at Vanguard University. Participated in leadership workshops, guest speaker sessions, organizational voting, and training related to national philanthropy initiatives. Engaged in networking with members and leaders from across the organization and brought key takeaways back to support my chapter growth.
